La variété des activités du camp de Ludwigsburg permettait à ceux qui y participaient activement ou en tant que spectateur de mettre de côté pour un temps les coups de cafards et autres tourments que l’absence prolongée d’avec la famille suscitait tous les jours. « En ce moment la troupe théâtrale continue de présenter « Paganini » et je n’y suis pas retourné depuis la première. Nous ne manquons pas d’autres distractions. Chaque lundi « l’heure des prisonniers » avec crochet radiophonique retransmis dans le camp par les haut-parleurs Presque toutes les semaines nous avons le cinéma et tous les jours les matches de basket, volley, etc… Les amateurs de sports peuvent fréquenter le stade et il ne nous manque en somme que la natation, ce que je regrette énormément. ».
